A court in Ramallah sentenced a Palestinian resident of the village district of Jerusalem, Jip, to eight years in prison after being found guilty of selling land to Israelis, according to a report Friday by the Palestinian news media.
The court suspended three years of the sentence due to an illness of the daughter of the accused.
A Palestinian in Hebron faces the death penalty for a similar offense after selling a home to Jews.
The world is silent against this very cruel and inhumane punishment.
